Un autre regard
Directed by Pierre Goismier and produced by GEDEON Programmes

A trip to the heart of JAPAN

This experience offers a vision of Japan full of contrasts: spectacular projection of the most beautiful aerial images of the snows of the island of Hokkaido and intimate portraits of Japanese people in the singularitý of their creations, their activities.  With brilliance, this documentary experience invites us to experience Japan as close as possible to its culture and landscapes for a suspended moment of great intensity.

A visual and sound experience

A visual and audio experience that plunges visitors into the heart of the Mount Unzen volcano and into the world of the sword founder. Visitors share the experience of a diver under a metre of ice or that of a wasabi producer. They meet a very young karateka and accompany a young maiko to her first tea ceremony…

Exceptional image quality

GEDEON Programmes, in co-production with NHK, spent over 2 years shooting the very high quality 4K images that have now made this immersive show possible.

This documentary experience invites the public to get a feel for Japan and to share the know-how, savoir-vivre and savoir-être of Japanese people with their unique backgrounds.
